Botanics AI is UK’s first Natural Cosmetic Formulation software designed to meet the needs of the most innovative cosmetic manufacturers. We are dedicated to simplifying the complex and often tedious product development process, enabling brands, manufacturers, and ingredient suppliers to create cutting-edge, safe, compliant, and high-quality formulas with ease.

Our Founder
Neo Chatyoka, the visionary behind Botanics AI, is the CEO and Founder of Uhuru Botanicals Ltd and The Cosmetic Formulation Academy. With humble beginnings, Neo started making organic beauty products in her kitchen in 2017. Today, Uhuru Botanicals operates out of a factory in Wolverhampton, producing innovative, African inspired beauty products for a global market.

Neo is not only a successful entrepreneur but also an educator and mentor. She serves as a visiting lecturer at several universities in the UK, where she teaches organic cosmetic formulation, product development, and manufacturing. 

Neo’s achievements have been widely recognised. She was named one of the Top 100 Change Makers in the manufacturing industry in 2024 and has won prestigious awards, including one from Innovate UK. Her journey has been featured in several prominent publications, including Express and Star, Country Life magazine, and The Sun, as well as in a Lloyds Bank Business and Commercial advert celebrating Women in Manufacturing.

While our technology facilitates seamless information exchange between teams and partners, we do not operate as a retailer or marketplace.

We offer a formulation platform powered by the world’s most extensive database of INCI ingredients. Our cutting-edge technology streamlines the complex product development process, enabling brands, manufacturers, and ingredient suppliers to create innovative, safe, compliant, and high-quality formulas efficiently. 

Our data is enhanced by leveraging advanced AI models, including those developed by OpenAI. These models utilise sophisticated algorithms and extensive training on diverse datasets to generate insights that are both accurate and relevant. This approach allows us to provide reliable insights drawn from a wide range of trusted sources, ensuring that our information remains comprehensive and current.

1. Go to the Botanics AI page.
2. Choose a category to search for.
3. Enter your search term in the search bar.
4. Click the submit button on the right of the search bar.

Once the results are ready, they will appear below the search bar. Please note that it may take some time for responses to come back.

1. After the search is complete and the results are available, locate the Favourite button at the upper right-hand side of the response.
2. Click the Favourite button to add the item to your favourites.
3. Favourites can be viewed from the sidebar on the left:
   • –  On desktop, the sidebar will be open by default.
     –  On mobile, select the toggle button on the left sidebar to open it and view your favourites.

A total of 25 favourites can be saved, with a maximum of 5 for each category.

1. Begin by locating the favourite item to delete in the sidebar:
   –  On desktop, the sidebar is open by default.
   –  On mobile, select the toggle button on the left to open the sidebar.
2. Click the Bin button to the right of the item.
3. Once clicked, it will be removed from your favourites and the sidebar.

Once you are enrolled on the Formulator course, an Botanics AI account will be created for you and the details will be sent to your email. With this account, you will have full access to all the benefits of Botanics AI.
